The slightly shorter of the two republic troopers salutes, obviously the one in command.
"Sorry, sir. The Sith were causing trouble on Manaan, and the powers that be decided it'd be best to get the shipment off a day early in case something happened. I just follow the orders I'm given, and they said to get to Dantooine as soon as possible."
The captain frowns.
"Interrupted my lunch, too..."
He pauses and draws his blaster pistol as there's a distant explosion.
"What in the Force...?"

Wait wait wait.... Dantooine is a Republic stronghold, with the Hammerhead in the area and a complement of fighters. I hate to be the first one to bring up unrealism, but I must make my case. The ships would easily be recognized as soon as they entered the system, and there would be plenty of time to scramble starfighters before they made it to the surface. Just stating my opinion.

*The mysterious craft split as they near the planet surface... each launches two long range missiles. A few hit a sensor tower, the rest hit the parked shuttle, causing some damage to the central hull.*

Which shuttle? Mine or SDs?

Meanwhile... "Wes, you stay with the ship," Kre says before pointing at some other men, "You three come with me. Let's get this done as quickly as possible." The group exits the shuttle to be greeted by a Jedi, who leads them into the enclave.

A brief flash of disappointment flashes across Wesley's face before he replies with the monotonous "Aye, sir."

The other three troopers sneer at Wes (who's attitude has earned him a poor reputation among the other recruits), then step out of the boarding ramp and follow Commander Kre'Fey into the Jedi enclave.

[Phinn Master]

OOC: I'll wait for Firox to reply then.

IC: After heading into the enclave, Kre'fey and the troops are met by several more Jedi, many of whom were his friends during training. Not wanting to be rude, Kre' fey converses for a while before moving on to talk to the head archivist. "Master Kre' fey, how good to see you back on Dantooine. If only it were on better circumstances. But alas, follow me."

Kre' fey and the troops follow him to the vaults.

Sorry about that, I had to think of something quick and I was sure someone would bring up unreal ism. Don't feel bad for it.

Still, I think I can get by with it.

Firstly, you haven't really made a true navy or armed force yet. So I assumed the planet is pretty much bare of major defenses. Except for the Hammerhead, but that is just one frigate and I think I could get past it. Secondly, these are, essentially, penetration fighters: They're made to zoom their stealthy way past defenses, get to the planet surface as fast as possible, strike, and then leave. I didn't really do any major damage... yet...

So I'm sorry if that was confusing. If you want, I would be willing to restart that move and fight the Hammerhead and starfighters in space.

OOC: I don't mind. I'll play with the move as it stands if Phinn is cool with it.

IC:

While inside the shuttle a warning light begins flashing and I look up to see 4 starfighters of an origin which I do not recognize coming in hard and fast. Wesley's eyes widen for a brief moment before he springs into action. Grabbing his blaster and a small equipment pack, he dashes out of the shuttle right as the missiles hit. The ensuing blast wave hurls him from the ground and sends him crashing into a nearby glade, temporarily out of sight of the strange assailants.

[Phinn Master]

OOC: Yeah, the Jedi wouldn't have much of a fleet anyway, so let's just go with it. Really, I was thinking Micah would have more time to prepare, but if he is fine with it, I am too.

IC: "Librarian, something doesn't feel right..." Kre'fey says.
"I sense it too-" An explosion is heard in the distance. "It appears our time table just moved up. Quickly Master Kre, time is of the essence."
The group arrives at the vault and the archivist begins opening it.

The republic troopers immediately break into action. Two of them cover the passage leading down to the archive while the third sets up a position behind a large tree, perfect for watching the hallway without being seen.

In the meantime, Wes tries to reorient himself, but everything has become a foggy blur. His ears still ring from the explosion, and blood has begun to seep down from the open cut on his forehead. His skin has become pale and cold. Groping about for his equipment pack, he strains to get his fingers to open the medical kit, and manages to wrap a bandage around his head, stopping the bleeding for now. The amount of blood lost, however, is too much. Dark spots begin to pop up in his vision, he stumbles for a moment, then blacks out and collapses on the mossy ground.

[Emjajoas]

I reach for my sword, looking around for the source of the explosion. Being caught between Jedi and Sith is extremely uncomfortable for me.
The move could very well be interpreted as the move any Republic soldier would take after hearing an enemy attack with the ability to do nothing.

[N-13 "Galaar"]

Siin frowns.
"We need to get moving. If we're under attack..."
He stops suddenly and begins walking towards the exit of the hangar bay.

[Emjajoas]

I turn on my heels and follow, acting the stressed subordinate. I keep one hand on the pommel of my sword, ready to draw and split them at a moments notice.

[Phinn Master]

The Sergeant looks at the two newly arrived troops.
"Troops! Follow me!" he barks out, "Taking this speeder bike will be much quicker." He motions towards a speeder off to the side of the hanger and gets in the pilot's seat, leaving only one empty seats.
The two eye the speeder skeptically.
"What are you waiting for!? Get on, I'm sure you'll find a way to not fall off."

[Emjajoas]

I hastily hop on before Siin gets a chance to, winking discretely at him.

[N-13 "Galaar"]

Taj frowns.
"Guess I'm walking."
He glares at Serkan.
"If there was time, corporal, I'd have you court martialed."

[Emjajoas]

"Sir!" I reply, saluting. I nudged Siin slightly with the Force, conveying what I have in mind.
I plan to meet him outside the building with our target.

[Phinn Master]

"Soldier, you better high tail it to the explosion site faster then a mynock straight out of Hell!" the sergeant say, "Yaaaah!" The speeder shoots off to the scene of the explosion. The sergeant looks to the sky, seeing the enemy fighteres. "Soldier, there should be a compartment right behind you with some heavy weapons in it. Grab it and shoot those fighters down, son!"

[Micah Stone]

Inside the Jedi enclave, one of the nervous members of your escort finally bursts out.

"What's taking so long with that door?!"

[Phinn Master]

*The vault doors finally are opened by the archivist. "Security measures have been heightened as you can see, and with good reason too."
Kre' fey walks in, gazing upon the rows of smaller vaults, each holding holocrons. "Where is it?" he asks.
The archivist walks to the back and opens a hidden panel, leading Kre' fey into another smaller chamber, and begins tapping a rapid succession of keys onto a holo. From the wall, a small drawer emerges, within it a small wooden box.
"Here," the archivist says handing it to Kre' fey, "Swiftly return it to Coruscant Master Kre' fey. May the Force be with you."


Meanwhile... Outside the enclave, several Jedi rush to the destroyed shuttle.
"I've found one survivor!" a Knight exclaims, "Get me a healer now! Whoever else was still in the ship couldn't possibly have survived."
A Jedi healer rushes to Cardal's aid, immediately working her Force powers on him. Out of a hanger, a trio of Aurek-class fighters take to the air with Jedi pilots while a group of soldiers on the ground led by an imposing Cathar Jedi begin attacking the enemies as best as they can from the ground, the Cathar deflecting any shots fired by the fighters at them.

[Emjajoas]

I reach for the heavy weapon, and, instead of using it, I mock a fall off the speeder, twirling through the air.
I hit the ground with a splat in front of the archives, startling whoever is nearby.
Feigning death or injuring, I remain still, using my unique Force powers to avoid lasting damage.

[N-13 "Galaar"]

Siin switches off his holorecorder and exits the small, windowless room he was in, walking swiftly down the hall towards the archives. He spots a small group of Republic troopers just outside the open doors. He smiles briefly and then resumes a grim countenance.
"You there! What are you doing? Can't you see we're under attack?! We need every soldier we can get! Stop standing around, or I'll have you arrested for insubordination!"
He pauses as the bewildered soldiers fumble for an excuse. The Dark Jedi draws his blaster and screams at them, playing the enraged commander.
"Don't 'But, sir' me, private! You four get your rears to the command center right now!"

[Phinn Master]

The sergeant continues on his merry way and stops the speeder when he realizes his trooper fell off. Grunting, he jumps off, grabs the rocket launcher and sights up one of the enemy fighters...

Kre'fey exits the archives, package tucked away in his robes. "Soldier? What is the meaning of this? Calm down!" he says. Kre'fey senses something off about this new troop. But, with all the chaos going about, he shakes off the feeling. "These troops are on a special mission with me, top priority. Now, I suggest you stop standing around and yelling at my men."

[Emjajoas]

I slowly look up from the ground, moaning, looking around for anyone.

[Micah Stone]

Outside the enclave, Ensign Cardal mumbles a few words and his eyes slowly begin to open. The color has returned to his face thanks to the efforts of the Jedi, and it isn't long before he's back on his feet.

"I...I need to find.......Kre'Fey," Wes shakes his head for a moment and stands a bit more rigid, doing his best to keep his thoughts together. "I'm the pilot for the ship he'll be taking out of here. I need you to take me to Commander Kre immediately."

[Guest]

Things are moving too fast... *grumble*

*One of the mysterious fighters rolls completely around and shoots one of the Aureks off of it's tail with some sort of gatling weapon.*

"That's it, men. Get out."

"Indeed, Commandant."

*The fighters scramble for orbit and a hyperspace escape...*
