Sorry SD, just went on a trip and had a project I needed to get done for school. By the way, I had already pointed out that the holocrons were in rows of safes before you even broke in. But, you probably could open them.

The Jedi archivist enters the code, but the door doesn't open. Kre'fey rips the vault door off its hinges with the lock opened and sends it flying straight at Siin.

Firox: One of the Interdictors is suddenly hit by a heavy missile barrage. The Hammerhead cruiser has finally joined the fight. A squadron of Aureks open fire on the damaged ship.

[N-13 "Galaar"]

Siin dodges it and disappears further into the vaults, both lightsabers drawn, having spent the last few minutes making a mental map of the area. Looking back over his shoulder, he sees the majority of the Republic forces are on his tail, avoiding blasterfire so nothing important is hit.

OOC: Logically they're not going to want to start blasting around in a vault filled with important artifacts and holocrons, even if stuff is locked in safes.

Meanwhile, one republic trooper splits off from the group chasing the Dark Jedi. Heading back to the vault entrance, he hails the small group of soldiers left standing guard there, motioning over his shoulder.
"Sith scum's running around inside the vaults like a coward. I'm going for some more men so we can corner him. He can't run forever. Just make sure he doesn't get out past you... I'd hate to be in your shoes if he escaped."

With a gasp, Wes awakens from and unpleasant dream. Finding himself propped against the wall of the room he had been fighting in half an hour before, with a medic attending to him.
"Did we get Serkan?"
The medic nods and continues his delicate wrapping of Wesley's head. Wesley heaves a sigh of relief, and lays his head back for a moment, only to snap it forward once more as a sense of unease returns to him.
"What about Commander Kre'Fey?"
The medic pauses for a moment, trying to decide what to say. "He's just cleaning up some stuff down in the archives. Seems that all the explosions caused a bit of a mess."
Wes frowns, trying to choose his next words carefully in order to get the real truth from the medic. He doesn't get the chance. A large crash echoes from the passage leading down towards the archives. Wes reaches out and grabs the blaster that slipped from his grip earlier, before jumping to his feet.
"Ensign Cardal, sit back down immediately, you are not fit for--"
"I'm fine," Wes cuts him off as he heads down the passage. "But Commander Kre might not be..."

OOC: Sorry for another late reply. I am at my grandparents' vineyard and have just wrapped up helping with harvest. We drive back home tomorrow and have two school projects due Wednesday. So, I'll be on once a day, and be more active come Thursday. And sd, yep yep, that makes sense.

IC: Kre'fey senses Siin's presence with the Force, and begins to corner him, moving troops to surround him.

That's actually pretty cool.

*The two Interdictors focus their tractor beams on the Hammerhead, and, with some Force help from Darth Hwyl, slam it into the ground, rendering it useless for flight. The damaged Interdictor is helped along by the tractor beams of the undamaged one... Darth Hwyl supports it as well. Sith Interceptors are sent out to help deal with the Aureks.*

Siin accidentally runs himself into a dead end. With nowhere else to turn, he whirls around like a cornered animal. Drawing his two remaining lightsabers, the Dark Jedi activates them and prepares to face the oncoming horde of Jedi.

Meanwhile, the republic soldier barrels around the corner, slamming into Wes.
"Sorry about that, Ensign, no time for chit-chat. Commander Kre's trying to corner that Sith in the vaults. I'm going for more help... with the way he's been fighting, that scum is dangerous, even when he's wounded."
He pauses and frowns, staring at the bandage around Wes's head.
"You're injured, soldier... why aren't you in the medbay?"

[Micah Stone]

"Doctor gave me the okay for combat. With the way things are going right now, we need every man we can get," Wes explains, gesturing up through the ceiling to the sounds coming from the battle in the air. "Good luck finding anyone. You'll need it."
Without another word, Wes dashes off down the passage, grabbing a pistol from a fallen trooper along the way.

[N-13 "Galaar"]

The republic officer watches him head off down the hallway, then, making sure he is alone, he pauses and draws a pyramid-shaped object from one of the small bags hanging on his belt. He examines it for a moment, then runs off in the direction opposite of the main portion of the Enclave.

I assume I'm still unconscious?

Presumably unconscious, and/or strapped to a torture table... though that might be a baaaaad idea.

I'm sure strapping me to a torture table would be wonderful.

You're pretty much sedated and gonna be out for the rest of the fight.

Firox: They sure do. They started it about ten years ago, so my family even helped plant it! Albeit, I am not sure how much help I was at six years old. But I do actually help out now. I do a bit of grape clipping, but I mostly lift the grape lugs into the big bin moved along by my grandpa driving the tractor. It's hard work but good work.

*The Aurrks immediately begin firing on the incoming fighters, dodging and weaving as they launch their missiles at the interceptors. A small group breaks off toward the damaged Interdictor and drops a heavy payload of explosives on it.*

SD: "Careful now!" Kre'fey yells. Instead of recklessly charging, Republic troopers lay down a barrage of blaster fire on Siin. Meanwhile, Kre and the Jedi get into a defensive position, lightsabers twirling and able to deflect any shots that the Sith might deflect to protect themselves and the soldiers. If Siin makes even one mistake, he'll be shot down...

Yeah, but like, where am I? It'd be nice to at least know where I am.

I know... I worked at a friends vineyard over the Summer... hot work, but good work. Now they're going to spend the Winter canning and preserving, and send out fresh grape jam to all the workers... *omnom*

*The damaged Interdictor pulls out and heads for hyperspace. The other Interdictor launches more fights, and numerous drop pods, which impact near the Jedi base. Troops begin to swarm out of these pods...*

Siin does not even bother to lift his lightsabers, smiling as the blaster bolts pass through him.
"My, how predictable you Jedi are. It was remarkably easy to create an illusion, a mere reflection of my true self. Then I simply had to disguise myself again and join your merry band of Republic soldiers chasing me around the vaults. I then proceeded to break off from the group with a logical excuse to leave the vault."
As the projection of the Sith begins to fade, he laughs.
"You've wasted far too much time to catch me now. I have what I came for and I'm already long gone."
He pauses and fixes Kre'fey with a glare.
"I shall not forget the injuries you have caused me, Jedi. We shall meet again."

Elsewhere, a small Republic fighter lifts off the planet. Siin contacts the less-damaged Interdictor on an encrypted channel.
"This is Siin... I have the item. I'm in an Aurek right now, I'll activate my homing beacon so you know which one. Try not to shoot me down."

OOC: I'm going to assume what kind of situation I'm in in order to post.

Bounds hands and feet in a Republic cell, I huddle in the corner, anger in my eyes. I feel naked without my blade, and the drugs likely injected to keep me docile do nothing to comfort me.
"He left, didn't he?" I mutter to myself. "That's just like him. Should've seen it coming."

OOC: You're actually strapped down on a flat table. Several horizontal and vertical straps across your torso, legs, and arms restrict all movement.

IC: The doctor notices your movement and adds 3 more CCs of the sedative.

Wes doesn't bother to hear the rest of the Sith lord's monologue. Going into a full sprint, he runs out the passage and through the corridors of the Jedi Enclave, hunting the Sith.

*Darth Hwyl contacts you mentally, his voice coursing through your mind, with a noticeable feeling of displeasure...*

"Yes, Siin, we will take on your... appropriated... starfighter, but know that I will not leave without your... business associate. I'm quite... displeased... that you left him as you did. He has potential in him... more than potential."

*Numerous Sith troopers, some actual Sith apprentices, some normal soldiers, pour towards the base. clashing with Republic troops, they try to fight their way to the detention block. The Interdictor assists with high precision bombardment, and Force actions from Darth Hwyl.*

Siin frowns, an action that goes unheeded due to the fact that he's communicating over the comlink. "I was unaware he was incapable of handling himself."
He pauses, checking the systems on his starfighter.
"We can't stay long, you know. You're assaulting the Jedi Enclave with only one Interdictor, and as soon as their reinforcements get here, we need to get out as quickly as possible. I take it the Rift is on board, as I requested?"

Scanners on the Interdictor begin to flash as the first of the Republic reinforcements begin to arrive. 3 cruisers drop out of hyperspace and head directly for the Enclave, where the battle rages...

...Meanwhile, as Siin attempts to rendezvous with the Sith Interceptor, he receives a sudden warning from the force. With an immediate downward thrust, a heavy barrage of fire passes harmlessly over his ship (although a few bolts do clip his left wing) in the spot he had previously occupied just moments before.
An Aurek fighter screams over his head and does a 180 degree barrel roll, coming in for another pass at Siin. In less than a second the Aurek will be on him. Incapable of turning fast enough to return fire, Siin must act fast, or his fate is sealed.

Siin throws his Aurek into a hard turn, flipping switches and redirecting power from the weapon systems to his rear shields and engines. He flicks the comm switch and makes another evasive maneuver in a different direction.
"This is Siin here, I'm in trouble. There's an Aurek on my tail, so I'm coming in hot. You may want to do something about those reinforcements, too."
Sensing his pursuer is not a Jedi, he throws his concentration into predicting his next move. He closes his eyes, reaching out with the Force.

"I'm sorry, Siin, but I was fully unaware that you were incapable of handling yourself..."

Lol, kidding.

*The Sith Navy arrives... hundreds of Interdictors and Centurion battleships crowd the skies of Dantooine, while Sith Interceptors swarm around Siin's fighter, knocking the Aurek off of his tail and escorting him back to the Interdictor.*

"The Rift is aboard, as you requested. We are not leaving without Serkan, nor without the holocron."

"But we may leave without you."

"Now get the Rift into action and get back down there to help Serkan."
