[The Force]

Welcome to Dantooine, home of the Jedi Enclave and sanctuary of the Jedi.

[Phinn Master]

*A Hammerhead-class cruiser comes out of Hyperspace, entering the Dantooine System. On the ship, Master Phinn Kre' fey awakens from his meditative sleep, pondering the mysteries of the Force. He makes his way to the bridge to get a status report.*

[Micah Stone]

The young cadet piloting the ship turns around at the sound of footsteps and breaks into a grin*

"Back from your nap, Commander Kre?"

A nearby officer, advanced in years, mouths an apology and turns to the cadet. "You will NOT talk to the Commander in such a tone, Cadet Cardal."

"A thousand pardons, sir." Giving one last grin, the cadet turns back to his instrument panel.

Shaking his head, the officer turns back to the Commander. "Is everything alright, sir?"

[Phinn Master]

"At ease, Lieutenant," Kre'fey says, "No need to worry about formalities on this ship."

"Err, yes, sir," the officer replies.

"Anyway, everything is fine. I was just coming to check on the crew and get a status report before we landed. The ship appears to be running smoothly as far as I can tell. Any problems corporal?"

[Micah Stone]

The cadet immediately turns around, pretending not to notice the harsh glare being given to him by his superior officer.

"She's handling like a dream, sir. We'll be at Dantooine in just under three hours."

[Phinn Master]

"Well, carry on then. Have you checked on the troops, Lieutenant?" the Jedi asks, "This is just a routine transport mission, but I have had a feeling that something... Sinister nears."

"What do you mean Commander?" the Lieutenant asks.

"It is most likely nothing. Just make sure everything continues going as planned. Just a simple pick up here in Dantooine before heading straight back to Coruscant."

"Yes sir." The lieutenant salutes before moving towards the crew deck.

[Micah Stone]

A few hours later, the Hammerhead-Class Cruiser drops out of hyperspace above the planet of Dantooine. Opening the ship's speakers, the cadet makes the rest of the crew aware of their new status.

"Attention, Pilot Cardal speaking. We've just dropped out of hyperspace a few clicks from Dantooine. All stations continue your regular routine unless ordered otherwise. Repeat, all stations continue your routine unless ordered otherwise.

And will Commander Kre please come up to the bridge?"

[Phinn Master]

*Kre' fey makes his way to the bridge.*
"What do you need Wesley?"

[Micah Stone]

Without saying a word, Wes motions toward the nearby Officer on the bridge. Walking over to meet you at the center of the deck, the officer clears his throat before proceeding.

"Commander, as you can see we've arrived at Dantooine and await further orders. Is there a specific site you wanted to land at?"

[Phinn Master]

"Let's set the cruiser in orbit," Kre' fey replies, "A few men and I will take a shuttle down to the Jedi Enclave. I don't plan on spending more than one night planetside before returning to Coruscant unfortunately."

The officer nods. "Yes sir. Preparations for a landing squad will be made immediately."

"Very well. I will meet your hand picked crew on the transport then," Kre' fey says as he walks off.

[Micah Stone]

Half an hour later, you receive another summons to the bridge where you are met by the officer and what you presume to be your escort. Four wide-eyed Republic troopers and the cocksure pilot, Ensign Cardal.

Stepping forward, the officer addresses the group. "You have all been handpicked by me to guard Commander Kre'Fey because you are the best we have to offer. I trust you will ensure his safety during the journey," the officer shifts his gaze to Wes. "And follow your orders to the letter."

In unison, the squad barks out the standard "Aye, sir!" and give crisp salutes all around.

Giving a satisfactory nod, the officer turns to you. "The crew is ready to embark and awaiting your orders."

[N-13 "Galaar"]

A lone Republic freighter enters the system, loaded with a cargo hold full of the healing liquid kolto and bound for the base on the planet surface.

[Emjajoas]

I look out the viewport at the large orb that is Dantooine.
"You remember the last time we were here together? Good times. And by good, I mean I remember the look on your face when I leeched-- Well, let's not relive that memory, shall we?"

[N-13 "Galaar"]

Siin grimaces and presses the comm button.
"Freighter Liberty requesting landing clearance for the planet surface."

[Phinn Master]

"Well men, this is a simple mission. Our shuttle will land at the Jedi Enclave and I will procure the item. I will have to discuss certain matters with some of my Orders, but we will hopefully be able to return to the ship before sunset. You are my honorary guard, as Republic High Command wishes. Yes, this most likely will be a simple mission, but if something can go wrong, it eventually will. If that case does occur, your main priority is to secure the item and return it to Coruscant. Any questions?"

"No, sir," one of the soldiers says.

"Take us away then Wes," Kre'fey says before nodding to the officer, "You have the bridge Lieutenant."

The small group boards the shuttle and heads to the surface.

Edit: "Freighter Liberty this is ground control. We do not have you as scheduled to dock. State your cargo and purpose."

[N-13 "Galaar"]

"Shipment of kolto bound for the outpost."
The Dark Jedi removes his hand from the comm button.
"Typical Republic troops... something unexpected happens and they start running in circles."

[Phinn Master]

"Just a moment please, I need to check with my superiors."

Several moments later, " Liberty, permission to land granted. You will be met at your docking bay." Ground control sends the docking bay information to your ship.

[Micah Stone]

A frown crosses Ensign Cardal's face as he looks out the viewport of the shuttle. "See that cargo ship, Commander?"

As you walk over to his station, he points towards a small speck which gradually comes into view. The ship appears to be a Republic freighter heading into the lower atmosphere of Dantooine.

"There aren't supposed to be any shipments today..."

[N-13 "Galaar"]

Siin logs the info into the ship's navicomputer and begins piloting the freighter down to the specified landing platform. He stares out the window at the shuttle in orbit.
"I sense a Jedi on board that ship... but then, we're landing on a planet full of them. Nothing to worry about, I suppose. Still... keep your wits about you, and let me do all the talking when we land. This ship wasn't scheduled to land on Dantooine for another day or so... we'll need a good excuse as to why we're early."
He pauses and grins.
"Perhaps- perhaps they were having trouble with the Sith, and they wanted to make sure this shipment left the system safely."

[Emjajoas]

"Contact your allies and get them to cause trouble on Manaan. Tell the people here intel stated you were tipped off about an attack and wanted to make sure the shipment of Kolto got here safely."

[Micah Stone]

Letting my eyes linger on the ship for a few more seconds, I shrug and turn my attention back to the instrument panels.

"It's not like that's the first Republic freighter to follow proper scheduling..."

After a few more uneventful minutes, the shuttle breaks through the clouds and lands at the Jedi enclave.

"Time to grab whatever it is that you wanted Commander Kre." Wesley says as he leaves his chair and grabs a standard Republic blaster.

[N-13 "Galaar"]

"Unfortunately, we can't ACTUALLY wipe those Republic slime off the planet, or the authorities on Manaan would never let us buy Kolto again... and we need it to win this war. Even causing trouble might get us expelled from the system... and we're not strong enough to simply take over like we did on Taris. Manaan's the only source of kolto in the galaxy, and without it we'd lose far more soldiers than we already do."
Siin lands the freighter, double-checking the cargo bay to make sure there are no traces of blood. He takes the case his armor and weapons are hidden in and exits the boarding ramp.

[Emjajoas]

"At least get them to show up in-sys--"
Shutting up due to the boarding ramp's decent, I stand rigid and at attention, ready for anything.

[Phinn Master]

A gruff looking sergeant peers up at you as the boarding ramp opens, waiting for it to fully descend. "Soldiers! It is my understanding that you have entered the system without permission from superiors and landed on this planet without following the predetermined schedule. I could have you sent to the court martial for this easily! So, how do you plan on explaining yourself?"

Meanwhile... "Wes, you stay with the ship," Kre says before pointing at some other men, "You three come with me. Let's get this done as quickly as possible." The group exits the shuttle to be greeted by a Jedi, who leads them into the enclave.

[Guest]

*Suddenly, 4 black and mottled dark grey fighters enter the system out of hyperspace. They are like nothing anyone has seen before... far tinier than typical craft, yet they move with amazing speed and maneuverability

"Is this the target, Commandant?"

"It is indeed. Take them out."

*The mysterious craft split as they near the planet surface... each launches two long range missiles. A few hit a sensor tower, the rest hit the parked shuttle, causing some damage to the central hull.*
